Experiment with drawing, mark making and imagery in mixed media, beginning with the creation of textured/printed surfaces through the layering of different materials, including textiles. The course will include the study of abstract form, colour and composition using techniques such as hand stitch, weaving, and printing with everyday objects, to form a series of innovative, experimental, decorative collaged pieces.
