Weddings and Civil Partnerships - Dragon Hall Norwich
Since the renovations carried out in 2005, which involved exposing and enhancing the stunning original features of the building whilst adding tasteful contemporary facilities, Dragon Hall has provided a unique and wonderful setting for a wedding or civil partnership ceremony and reception.
The magnificent Great Hall, with its ancient timber crown-post roof, wooden floor and countless windows through which sunlight streams, looks simply stunning as the location for a ceremony. Later, when dressed for the wedding breakfast, the Hall becomes a beautiful and atmospheric space for a reception.
Contained by the most ancient part of Dragon Hall on one side and a spectacular glass wall overlooking the garden on the other, the Gallery provides a unique setting for post ceremony drinks, canapés and photographs and again, later, for music and dancing.
The Courtyard Garden, maintained year round by our experienced volunteers, is a pretty English garden with examples of plants and herbs in keeping with a medieval garden of the time. A beautiful setting for photographs, it is also popular with guests for mingling and enjoying a glass of champagne in the warmer months of the year.
At Dragon Hall, we recognise that your wedding or civil partnership celebration is a very important occasion for you, your families and friends. We aim to work with you to ensure this is the case and that you will take away with you memories of this special day which you will treasure for life.
